Amazon Ring – the company intends to change that and has recently announced its
“The Always Home Cam”
A autonomous indoor Drone that flies around your Home and gives you a live mobile feed
Of your Home! Once it has finished its flight the Always Home Cam returns to its dock to charge its battery.
The Always Home Cam also has an obstacle avoidance technology preventing it from crashing into anything during its flight. The Drone is able to operate autonomously though the users can direct it to different rooms or create a preset survelliance path.
To maintain the privacy of your home the camera is hidden when it’s docked and only begins to record when in flight. Also the Drone makes an audible noise while flying so it is obvious when the footage is being recorded.
The drone sits in its charging dock until it’s commanded to fly around your house.
This device is meant to allow you to survey your entire home without needing multiple cameras – something that can be very useful for bigger homes!
The Rings Home Security Drone is indeed a pretty unique product and it definitely changes the way we see and use home security cameras.
